Welcome to the SONAR MIDI-Kit

Computer music is currently made by using audio samples, synthesizers, and all kind of equipment which helps to support the creativity of the performer. With the introduction of the Personal Computer many new possibilities are now within the reach of the amateur. However, the great number of possibilities is for many a labyrinth. This WEB site tries to help you to find your way to better results with the creation of computer music. I do not pretend to cover all aspects, but try to support the elements, which look to me the most important ones.
I have split the information into three parts:

• Audio: provides information about critical audio aspects. It focuses on recording and editing audio, and authoring CD's.
• MIDI: addresses sound synthesis, and the creation of high quality MIDI sequences. Who wants to take advantage of the Cakewalk Application Language, can find a Cakewalk Application Language course and a programming guide.
• Performance: addresses music performance. It covers music scores, and live performance aspects.
