Intrigues and Scandals at the Spanish Court is the history of the Spanish monarchy, of catholic queens, Isabella van Castilië and Ferdinand of Aragón, up till the present-day king Juan Carlos. Stahlecker focuses on the virtues, failings and peculiarities of the blue blood that ruled for years the Spanish Peninsula and the colonies.
