SFCServ2-0b1 r008, date: 4 may 2005
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks to everybody for using SFCServ. We are very satisfied
on how SFCServ is working.
Finally we were able to improve the DELQUE command. (Delete from
Que). We had many reactions in the past that it was difficult
for people to remove a file from the que.
The current method works much smoother so we hope you enjoy it :)
NEW to r008 is the possibility to double click the files in
the @RECEIVED window. We have blocked .scr, .pif, .com and .exe files.
Other files will start its default programs for the various file
extentions.
NEW also is the TRUSTED nicknames list.
Standard is the "Shared-files" as share list.
If you build a "subject" list for a channel then that subject file
is only send too "trusted" nicks who do a normal
' @nickname ' list request.
The people on the TRUSTED nicknames list will receive the
subject file instead.
If someone enters the channel SFCServ will say if the person is
trusted or that its an untrusted (unknown) nickname.
By right-mouse-button clicking on a nickname in the mIRC channel
nickname part you can ADD or EDIT the TRUSTED nicknames list.
You can also use the list to add text which can be shown when that
person enters the channel. The text is visible to you only.
Finally we were again able to fix a few more typos and small bugs.
Making this release r008 the best SFCServ so far :)
For now we wish you much pleasure with this latest release from
SFCServ v2.0 beta 1 release 008 and please let us know about
your experiences and likes or dislikes with SFCServ !

SFCServ2-0b1 r007 version 20 oct 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally, have we completely rewritten the Listmaker !
No longer hangups etc... its back as background task.
You can follow its "work" in the status menu.
When building is ready it will show the result list in
a notepad window !
When you update from an older version to the current release007
it will not longer see the lists you made in earlier versions!
Build an new one or move the "old" list(s) from the mirc dir to
the new SFCLists subdirectory !
Beside this big changes we made one or two minor bug fixes.
SFCServ2-0b1 r006 version 11 sep 2004
--------------------------------------------------------------------
We noticed some small problems and received a few bug reports about
SFCServ.
We solved some download problems fi when people change nickname.
Also we made building of the list last even longer, sorry :)
But we added the mp3 info back into the list as that was much
requested. Therefor it counts now even more that it might take
a while and even looks frozen when building a large or very
large list just wait until it is finished.
Further we made a few smaller fixes.
SFCServ2-0b1 r005 version 27 aug 2003
--------------------------------------------------------------------
There were some bug reports about SFCServ locking sends and
some other minor problems which we have solved with this version.
If you have a large list it might look during listmaking that mIRC
is frozen, though just wait until the list build is ready this can
take a while depending on how many files you share !
SFCServ2-0b1 r004 version 30 mar 2003
--------------------------------------------------------------------
We changed the @nick-que to @nick-info .The @nick-que changed
to a 1 liner. Also its possible to type it yourself to see
how many files for a specific nickname are queued with
@nick-que nickname or how many files in que with @nick-que.
The filerequests are first going to a tasklist before added to
the filesend que. This to prevent hanging for a while from
mIRC during the files check when someone requested in batch.
Also we made some small changes to the @find command - mostly
to prevent building big lists on short combinations, like on
requests of @find mp3.
SFCServ2-0b1 r003 version 10 nov 2002
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Seems most people had no problems with SFCServ,
though in this release we solved a nickname change bug.
Files in QUE goes now out as they should also when someone
carries another nickname.
We hope also that we solved the problem with listning to streams
on winamp making the 'buffering' lines disconnect you from IRC.
If these winamp stream info lines in your setup are still shown
then please let us know.
And finally we have answered upon various requests with adding
3 info-windows for PLAYLIST, RECEIVED files and SENDED files.
In the 'basic settings' you can set your prefered state of those.
SFCServ2-0b1 r002 version 22 aug 2002
--------------------------------------------------------------------
OOh ooh ... thanks to Larry for installing SFCServ in a clean mIRC !
Seems that didnt work out as it should. So we had to update this version.
immediatly. Now also 'new' users can enjoy the new version :)
& 1 corrected text error .
SFCServ2-0b1 r001 version 22 aug 2002
--------------------------------------------------------------------
A complete NEW and almost 70% re-written and extended SFCServ version !
For 100% better then ever before.
During our re-writings we found a few bugs and without any doubt we
have included a few new ones :) . Please let us know if you think
you found one.
Also a new mirc version v6.03 means that some routines had to be
changed because of new mIRC bugs.
The additions on this SFCServ 2.0 are too many too mention in a few
words. Extended que info, download chart, etc...
Just download and upgrade. And enjoy this version as we do !
SFCServ1-3b2 r007 version 12 jul 2002
------------------------------------------------------------------
Atleast a few bugs were found this time, the 'que send' checks now
orrectly for 'nickname and userid' to send a file.
Also a few small other routines are improved among them we
made it now possible for people to copy the whole line from the
list and still the correct file is send.
NEW in this version is the much requested 'delete from que'
only condition is that you may not have any file transfers
Also the possibility to ADD files to the que.
If your not selecting a line you can delete the whole que list.
This all in the 'Information -> send and que' window
SFCServ1-3b2 r006b version 20 jun 2002
---------------------------------------------------------------------
First, the script seems to do very fine. If you encounter any problem
please let us know !
No bug but a small addition on request :)
For advanced users - You can now a edit the shared files (directories)
list for a subject that is linked to the channel. By rightclicking in
a channel window you can select 'QuickEdit for Shared Files'
SFCServ1-3b2 r006 version 19 jun 2002
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Added to this SFCServ release are 2 items;
1. If you build a list you can now add your own header and footer text
You find the 2 options in the main settings
2. Automatic Messages
We had requests for this already for a long while.
You can add your own texts. And set the time interval.
SFCServ1-3b2 r005b version 21 May 2002
------------------------------------------------------------------------
We were not doin nothing on SFCServ for the last months, only
it has been a bit quiet as SFCServ was doing nicely.
Only found a BUG in the @find routine which is now working okay
Also we changed the find routine a little.. if the search results
are less then 7 then a message is send to a private window.
Also when NO results are found a messages is send to a private window
too, when you get problems in some channels about this then please
let us know !
Other changes are... we now also 'support' the WA_Link.dll when this
dll is found in your mIRC dir it will use it for sending 'play'
messages to the channel.
For broadband users we have added the function to turn off the MAXCPS
speed in the 'basic server settings'
Also the FIND function can be turned on / off there
SFCServ1-3b2 r004 version 21 Feb 2002
--------------------------------------------------------------------
A new mIRC version always mean new problems, so also this time
because of a mIRC bug we have re-written the 'send 2 nick'.
Added in this release is the 'Export': send 2 nick chart
For listmaker a 'delete all dirs' button.
And fixed is the problem that send windows kept open in some occasions
SFCServ1-3b2 r003 version 12 Feb 2002
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Little necessary change to the 'listmaker' as we get many questions
about it we tried to simplify it by putting the type of list selection
on the left side. Its no longer needed to press 'save' when changing this
option. When you add or delete file extentions or dir paths then you
still MUST press SAVE to make it permanent.
In the 'basic server settings' we include 2 presets for speedlimit
modem = 3000 cps and ADSL = 14000 cps.
The 1st time setting will be from this version: 0 = no limit
The 'auto list request' method has been changed, current CTCP list info transfer
contains 'SFCServList Amount_Files Subject Listdate'.
Right click the channel popup will now include 'show sends and rcvs' list into
the channel.
Hope you enjoy this version as much as we do... keep writing us or
meet us in the channel #SFCServ on irc.sandrachat.net, irc.belgiumdance.net
or irc.sandranet.com .
SFCServ1-3b2 r002 version 23 Jan 2002
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Various small fixes have been made - among them:
File requests from non serv channels are not longer excepted !
List requests are queued in a seperate que send list.
To prevent flood disconnect.
The que info text now also contains the extra info...
SFCServ1-3b2 r001 version 18 Jan 2002
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Added files that are send to the INFO Que window.
On request added the 'standard mIRC Commands' to the
menu as it seemed they were 'lost' after installing SFCServ.
SFCServ1-3b2 r001 version 17 Jan 2002 Pre-Release
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A new version number as we made many changes to the core routines
By some people the ini file became to long so we took out parts
and build now seperate files for them in the SFCServLog dir.
The channels are in SFCChans.dat
The subjects are in SFCSubjs.dat
and your dir paths are stored in (subject_name).dat files
Because of these changes the RENAME subject in LISTMAKER is currently
unavailable but added is finaly a 'delete' subject function. Which would please many :) .
We will first look how this version now goes with these changed
routines...
SFCServ1-3b1 r010 version 07 Jan 2002
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay several problems are corrected:
The @find routine has been 'fine tuned'.
All file requests are now first QUEUED so massive request wont flood you.
part of the que routines are re-written for this.
When long nicknames are used the que should work okay now !
SFCServ1-3b1 r009 version 29 Dec 2001
--------------------------------------------------------------------
The @FIND routine gave problems in very populated channels.
We rewritten the routine and it checks for a find done by someone after a
delay of minimal 5 secs depending on the amount of searches.
Added to the 'Basic Server Settings' a SEND speed limit (CPS)
the default value is currently set to 3000, a value of 0 means no limit
SFCServ1-3b1 r008 version 19 Dec 2001
---------------------------------------------------------------------
i woke up and thought it was needed to have a double check on the list format
so added this. Also the 'automated' message has now the extra info
SFCServ1-3b1 r007 version 18 Dec 2001
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The previous version was the best version ever so looking back on this we added
a new feature namely the ability to request a list but also update at
the same time the list with the latest version or show the current
when already downloaded.
The Que now insert a broken file before the place where a file is in
from the requester or like now at the end when the requester is not on the
the list.
Added to the channel msgs are some more details about slots info and so
We hope this version works as good as the previous one - when update is
needed we will do so immediatly
SFCServ1-3b1 r006 version 22 Nov 2001
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Que messages updated and invisible message made visible again
Que max size now also 25 and 50 added to select box
SFCServ1-3b1 r005 version 20 Nov 2001
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The filelist counter can block other routines from working
correctly when to many files are in the list (mirc shortcoming).
Therefor it was needed to re-write the file counter routine.
Further more we try out some different notice and message
commands... may change in later version upon test results.

and automatic que add and send.
Text files are not longer auto Queued.
SFCServ1-2b5A r037 version 1 Nov 2001
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We reworked the QUE:
Someone can get info on the amount on QUE's by typing: ![nickname]-Que
Que keeps 'existed' and file can be send to someone even days later
on its return in the channel.
The same file cant be added more then once anymore
File that get stopped on send are added to the que
Someone can remove a file from the que with: @[nickname]-delque [filename]
SFCServ1-2b5A r036 version 28 Oct 2001
