The computer controlled
Tipple.

A impression of the sequence of the movements of the tipple.

The train and tipple in the starting position.

The locomotive and wagon running towards the tipple.

The wagon is in the tipple.

The clamp in its lower position.

The locomotive runs a short distance backwards.

The tipple has grabbed the wagon and starts rotating it.

The tipple unloads the wagon.

The wagon is empty and the clamp has opened.
The locomotive can couple again the wagon and run back to the starting position.
Simultaneously, the conveyor-belts transport a new load into the wagon.
Then the sequence starts again.

A close-up of the a electro-magnet that I have used as a coupling. At the left it is uncoupled, at the right it is coupled.
The three belt-conveyors that transport the load from the tipple into the wagon.
