Chapter 29 told by

So, finally
it’s my turn again after all those troubles.
I feel
sorry I don’t have a playing mate anymore, in time it had used to her.
It’s quit
now I have bossy all for myself.
It’s me who
sleep all alone next to him and it’s me who awakes him.
Bossy told
me there wouldn’t be another cat for a while.
It’s turned
august and there is still a bit summer left but the days are shorter.
Luckily the
sun shines and I am snoozing away during the day in my own bed.
Once in a
while a jump onto my outlook pole to watch people on the street while having a
sunbathe.
This week
Bossy had bought something new to frighten me, at least he thought.
As always
Bossy works on his computer and I want some of his attention too.
So I jump
in front of his keybord in order to get my attention.
After a
while Bossy went into the bathroom and collected something from there.
He put it
on the ground and sat down again.
Curious as
only a cat can be I investigated that shiny thing on the floor.
Wow, what
was that there waa a cat at that shiny thing.
Immediately
I lowered my back ready to strike the intruder.
Very
strange, that cat lowered it’s back too just like me.
In fact she
moved just like me.
Something
is not right here!
I raised
myself and walked carefully towards that shiny thing.
Well, what
was that, the other cat did just the same thing.
Funny thing
was I couldn’t smell that other cat.
I stopped
and sat down, thinkeing what to do.
You
guessed, the other cat copied me exactly.
It took me
a couple of minutes before the bright light shined, I knew what that was!
I had heard
of a mirror, sometimes to fool cats.
You can see
an exact copy of yourself on it.
Wait a
minute, THIS cat wouldn’t be tricked, I looked behind the mirror….nothing.
So I walked
all around it, totally nothing to see.
Yes, indeed
I depend on my noise much more than my sight.
It never
tricked me.
That trick
didn’t fool me bossy, nice try.
To let
Bossy see I couldn’t be fooled by this trick I sat right in front of the mirror
and started to clean myself.
