The light, circular shape is the entrance. Every day at dusk a Great Titmouse (Parus major) enters for the night.

The end of October 2002 was rather stormy overhere. One of the victims was a Daubenton's bat (Myotis daubentonii). He and his home fell to the ground. It would have been nice if he'd finished his hibernation in our specially adapted second webkast, but after two nights he vanished.

In 2004 and 2005 a couple of Great Titmice had a nest in one of our birdboxes ( read the logbook ).

spring 2007: the sparrows are building a new nest in one of the boxes

At this moment there are only few activities, some sparrows sleeping in the boxes at night.
