I saw this CD at Fear Dark for 2 euros, so I thought: "Oh well, why not?" So I bought it and I must say I can understand why it was only 2 euros. The songs are boringly simple, the vocals sound bad, and the lyrics are cheesy. I hate the lyrics on the song Deception of the Raven, they're about a break up with a girl and his jealousy about her being with a different guy. There are some songs that are near decent like Goreified and the ballad Chant the Lullaby of Death as the Fetus is Disposed (yes, on abortion), with acoustic guitars, female vocals and a guitarsolo at the end. But overall this album is just... not good. For the fans of Encryptor: Sermon Decay uses a lot from this CD. Like the song Cast Into Darkness - The Burning. And the outro on this CD, Cast Into Darkness - Damned to Flames, is used in the song Bloodflow Towards Salvation on Sermon Decay. Anyway, this album might be entertaining for fans of simple Death metal, but for me it isn't.
