This demo, which is used for promotional use, starts with a very nice pianopart supported by drums. But after that the real stuff gets started. They call it Christcore, but it could also be described as Metalcore/Nu metal, with clear influences by Slipknot. Down-tuned guitars, fast drums with double base and the combination of clean vocals and the yelling-like make this sound really good. Every song has straight-forward Christian lyrics, which explains the term Christcore. I find it hard to believe this demo was recorded in one of the bandmember's own home, within few months after the beginning of Unlikely Evangelists. The songs sound so professional, like the band has had years of experience, and the production sounds so good, like it was recorded in a professional studio. I hope we'll hear more from this band, as they can easily fit into the line of bands like Demon Hunter and East West.
