![]() Anaemia - The Second Incarnation
Anaemia is, sad enough, one of those bands that suffer from the vocals. I rarely play this CD, even though the music itself is really good. Chriss Sundqvist is a great guitarist, his talent makes this CD worth the spin for me. Especially with the solos. But the vocals are raw and lack variation. The clean vocals are good though. The songs themselves are good, a lot of variation in the sound of songs. My favorite is By Nothingness Embraced, with heavy guitars, accoustic guitars and solos. Absolutely great. Lyricwise this is actually one of the better releases I own. Very true-hearted and christianity-inspiring. The lyric 'I surrender, God I surrender, my life so finite, I surrender to You' (from the song Abstract Pain (Docta Ignorantia)) inspired me to get baptized, and I used it in my speech.
