This is the second album by this band, this band really had potential, too bad they broke up after this release. This album is very decent Metal, with a lot of electronic sounds. The vocals are awesome, I don't really know how to call this type of singing, it's a raw form of clean vocals. The song Real Man in Quicksand is very different from the rest, not being just a typical metal song, but it still does fit this cd. The song Contort is the only song having female vocals, pretty good vocals, I wouldn't have mind to hear more of those. Deep Blue is a real ballad, having acoustic guitars, slow drums and soft clean vocals. Why they put at the end a track 10, which is just some track where they're having fun, I don't know. I don't think it fits this cd, it takes away the atmosphere the whole cd has, which I think is pretty sad. Overall this is a great cd, way underrated.

In 2005 Soundmass reissued this gem. Nothing new except for the artwork. Only 500 copies were printed of the reissue. I now have both versions. At the top of this page you see on the left the old artwork and on the right the new. (October 26 - 2005)
