This single brings us four songs, of which two are different versions of Thunder of War.
This was my favorite song from At the Dawn of War actually. More interesting about this
single are the two bonustracks though. Illusions, which is pretty much in the vein of
At the Dawn of War, and Loss, which is completely different. Fionnghuala
does lead vocals here, not the vocals we're used from her though, more Goth-like. Not a bad song,
but not really typical Slechtvalk, which makes this single more a collectible for fans than
a promotional CD to introduce the band.
So that pretty much hits the nail on the head: this single is fun to have for fans of this band,
further it's not something special.
