28/03/2001 In version 2.0 the WHBM analysis is only shown (if applicable anyway) for a given method class when then Composer tab is entered at least one time for that method class by the user. Appropriate information is then written to the configuration file. This is corrected in version 2.0.1.
As a fun add-on 'named changes' (musical changes) are detected in version 2.0.1.

All known bugs are solved in version 2.0.  Bell colors were not yet optimised for 16 colors within the program however; see color patch.

When the method is played and the mixed sounds state is not reached by choice (mixed sounds item unchecked) o rbecause of  too few bell sounds (major set of bell sounds with method beyond 8) an error is reported. This situation can be reset by leaving the program. In version 1.6 this will not be repaired. Users of version 1.6 should always use "mixed sounds" and a suitable set of bell sounds.
For beta version 1.7 a patch is available.

The general idea was to make help also available in the menu. However this appreared not to work. Repaired in beta release. version 1.6 users can call help for a form component and then use the index.

In the Settings menu of the Editor window (method listing) you need to uncheck the Wordwrap item after installation to get the best presentation.

Two mild bugs have been reported in all versions 1.x versions up to 1.7.01 beta and are solved in version 1.7.02 beta. With some precautions no upgrade is needed.

• When in the group list of the library window several boxes are unchecked in a short time, you will get a 'blue screen'. Windows seems to stay stable however. Resolution: wait a few seconds before unchecking the next checkbox. This problem has been solved in 1.7.02 beta. Moreover, by introducing a short delay in the program itself fast unchecking is handled much more efficient for large groups. Also the state of the checkbox is now stored in the configuration file. Unregistered files are assumed to be in the checked state.
• An error was found in the lead completion algorithm. The major lead element "45" was seen as valid without any completion and thus would give "xxx45xxx" as placing string which was handled by the change production routine without complaining. This example of an even number of placed and non-placed bells was not checked for odd numbered non-placed subgroups such as "xxx". This extra test is now built in. The lead can be repaired manually also: in this example change "45" in "1458".

Some serious bugs have been detected in all current versions up to 1.6.1. All users are advised to download the upgrade.

• When in extended lead end mode the lead end contains an opening bracket, "(", without closing bracket, the program will hangup. This situation is created automatically when there is referred to an alias code containing a multiplier symbol, "*".
• When the program is quitted while the library is still loading (showing "busy..." in the title bar) the program will not close correctly and destabilise Windows.
• When the introsound is playing, a floating point error was reported and no could not be quitted anymore.

These problems have been resolved in a thorough manner.
