Through this website I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself and offer my services as a freelance translator. I am a qualified translator/interpreter and a member of the Netherlands Society of Interpreters & Translators (NGTV).

Although my mother tongue is Dutch, I am fully bilingual in Dutch and English as I have been married to an Irishman for over 20 years now. As a result, I translate texts in both language combinations: Dutch into English and English into Dutch. I have travelled extensively and lived abroad for eight years (Ireland, UK, Spain, Sweden, Malaysia). For four of these I worked in Ireland. Before moving abroad I worked in Amsterdam as an executive secretary, among others at the British Consulate-General and International Computers Ltd (ICL).
