matchless parts.
what
makes the Matchless so different to other
bikes
like the G3L and G80
First
there is the very strange shaped oil-tank
made
of full sheet and is fitted between the engine
plates.
the
Amal 5GP2 1 3/8" is a real Big
Carburettor .
The
frame is made from reynolds tube and all welded
The
rear-hub is full magnesium and comes from the 7R
the
front hub has the fins machined away to save weight
The
red glass-fiber is typical G85CS as for the short
seat.......the
alloy primary is a copy of the tin early 50ties
a
special piston is used to reach the 12-1 compression
I
attached some pictures of those typical components
These
showed pictures are from different owners
I
have some spares but not that much
I
make a copy of my central oiltank for the works G85CS
The
silver frame is used for that idea
Time
for a Amstel dutch lager beer
Cheers
