All titles were on the line at Doomsday IV yet only one changed hands! Rob Van Dam was crowned the new Intercontinental Champion, when he defeated Chris Jericho and Matt Hardy.

All other belts remained around the waist of the defending superstar, as Lita defeated Jazz and Trish, Edge bested his brother Christian for the European title. When the two brothers teamed later for the tag titles against Booker T & Goldust they managed to hang on to the gold. Rey Mysterio retained the cruiserweight title and Spike Dudley did the impossible by defeated The Big Show and Brock Lesnar!!

Chris Benoit outlasted The Rock, Kurt Angle and Steve Austin and got a title shot against the man he lost the belt to, Triple H. It wasn't the Crippler's night though as The Game quickly defeated him to retain the Heavyweight Championship.

This could very well be the final PPV hosted by No Mercy, so we might as well go out with a blast!
ALL titles are on the line, as over the course of the evening Booker T and Goldust go up against Los Guerreros to decide who faces tag champs Edge & Christian. But the two siblings will also face each other! As Edge defends his European title against his brother.
Can Spike Dudley defend his Hardcore title when he faces Brock Lesnar and The Big Show? And will IC Champion Chris Jericho retain against Rob Van Dam and Matt Hardy V1?
Who will walk out with the Cruiserweight belt? Will it be one of the challengers Jamie Knoble or Billy Kidman, or will champion Rey Mysterio be victorious..Will Jazz or Trish Stratus take the title away from Lita?
And who will face Heavyweight champion Triple H?! Will it be Kurt Angle or Chris Benoit..or maybe The Rock..and what about Stone Cold Steve Austin. One of these men will face The Game for the title in the main event!

At Carnage Triple H regained the title that has eluded him for over two years. The one thing that he lives for, the Undisputed championship. Ofcourse, Triple H's victory also meant something else..
It's Game Over for Chris Benoit.
The Rabid Wolverine was overpowered by HHH, but fought back later in the match, but by then the Cerebral Assassin had done too much damage and he was able to put Benoit away with the dreaded Pedigree. Can anybody stop Triple H now that he is on top of the federation?

There was another title change at Carnage, but at least the belt stayed within the family. Spike Dudley managed to outbrawl his two bigger brothers, D-Von and Bubba Ray, for the victory and the Hardcore Title! Chris Jericho, the defending I.C. Champion retained against Christian in a even match that saw Jericho grab Christian's tights in a roll-up for the victory.

The team of Booker T & Goldust will take on Eddie and Chavo Guerrero at our next ppv to decide who gets to challenge Edge & Christian for the tag gold. "B Teazy" and "G Dizzy" defeated Charlie Haas and Benjamin Shelton, members of Team Angle while Los Guerreros defeated the high flying combo of Rey Mysterio and Billy Kidman.

Chris Benoit had to fight all his career to get to where he is now, the top of the mountain. Over and over again the Rabid Wolverine had to prove himself. But now he might be facing his biggest challenge. It has been quite a while since Triple H held the undisputed championship. He would love nothing better than to wrap that belt around his waist again. And when The Game wants something, he will go to any lengths to get it. But The Crippler will not move aside, he will not roll over and give the title, the one thing he has battled all his career for, away just like that.
When these two collide mountains might move, the sky might fall and at the end..when only one man can survive..it will be carnage....

But by then the ring might be colored red already as three brothers go at it, in a brutal three-way first blood match. D-Von Dudley faces Bubba Ray and Spike, as he tries to defend his Hardcore title. Who will draw blood on his next of kin first?

Chris Jericho, the highlight of the night, faces one half of the tag champs Christian, who wants to have double gold like his brother Edge..will his dream come true tonight or will the King of the World remain crowned?

Also, four teams will decide who gets to challenge the tag champions in the near future, Los Guerreros face the dynamic team of Rey Mysterio and Billy Kidman, while Booker T and Goldust square of against Kurt Angle and a yet to be named partner of his choice!!

We promised that the year would bring new chances...
It also brought two new champions! Rey Mysterio beat eleven other cruiserweights to become the new champion in an amazing 4-way elimination gauntlet match.
Edge survived (that's the only way to describe it!) Eddie Guerrero and that same Rey Mysterio in an grueling 3-way ladder match which saw all three men giving it their all and some more. Time after time it seemed as if one of the three competitors was able to climb that ladder and grab for the gold but over and over again they got thwarted inches away from the belt. Eventually Edge was able to hold off his adversaries and he did manage to get the title.

D-Von Dudley defended his Hardcore title against Raven and halfbrother Bubba who claimed to be screwed by his brother last time. Well this time he even was pinned by D-Von and thus the family feud might not quite be over!
Chris Benoit and Brock Lesnar took on the team of Kurt Angle and Triple H. Oddly enough Kurt didn't seem to be working well with The Game, as he never reached for the tag. That was his fatal error though, as he couldn't fight off the awesome force of the Undisputed Champion and the Next Big Thing, and he was eventually pinned after being slammed down the mat off the shoulders of Lesnar by Benoit.

Christian showed that he is a force to be reckoned with when he became the new #1 contender for the I.C. title, after entering the 20 men rumble as third, which means he was in the battle from the get go. He now goes on to face Chris Jericho in the near future, and try to add more gold next to his tag titles, like his brother Edge did.

With a new year comes the time to give new chances. Thus at Manhattan Mayhem there are three titles on the line, a number one contendership battle royal and we even have a showdown between the undisputed champion Chris Benoit and his challenger Triple H, even though it will be in a tag match.

The cruiserweight title will be on the line in a 4-way elimination gauntlet match featuring all the cruiserweights, including stars as champion Jeff Hardy, Essa Rios, Tajiri, but also Rey Mysterio who will be on double duty tonight as he also defends his European title against Eddie Guerrero and Edge in a gruesome three-way ladder match.

We also have a triple threat hardcore match between newly crowned champion D-Von taking on Raven and his very own halfbrother Bubba, who was upset that D-Von snatched the win away from him last time.
