Davin Ireland has led a typical writers’s life. After travelling extensively through his teens and twenties, and working dozens of menial jobs along the way, he finally figured out how to structure a sentence somewhere in his early thirties.

This welcome breakthrough helped put the years spent as a postman, fruit picker, dishwasher, refuse collector, waiter, insurance salesman, farmhand, golf caddy, translator, and fork-lift truck operator, into some kind of perspective.

Now a long-term resident of the Netherlands, Davin's stories have appeared in over fifty publications worldwide. He is currently working on a crime novel set in the south of England.
